BIOSx makes podiatrist-designed compression socks from natural and recycled fibres, for everyday wear, travel, sport, recovery and work.
BIOSx (pronounced "bio-socks") is an Australian compression sock brand. Its socks are designed with podiatrists, listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration and made from natural or recycled fibres, and every pair sold plants a tree.
BIOSx sells five ranges for very different people: nurses on long shifts, runners, travellers on long-haul flights, people recovering from training or surgery, and tradies. Each range has its own level of compression, so the store had to help people find the right sock quickly, while making the science, the guarantee and the sustainability story easy to trust.
We designed and built the store on Shopify around the five ranges: Everyday 24/7, Travel, Performance, Recovery and Heavy Duty Workwear. Each has its own place in the navigation and on the homepage, and a comparison chart sets the compression levels and best uses side by side. The homepage explains why the socks work, from podiatrist design and TGA-listed graduated compression to the 100-day money-back guarantee, with free shipping and the guarantee running across the top of every page.
Supporting pages cover sizing, wear and care, FAQs, shipping and returns. Our Story and Social Impact pages tell the brand's story and its sustainability commitments, and wholesale and corporate gifting have their own pages for businesses.
