Contemporary Flooring Solutions is a family-run business installing and restoring high-end timber floors across Melbourne.
Contemporary Flooring Solutions is a family business, founded by Ken Williams in 2010 and now run with his daughter Georgia. Their own employed team, with no subcontractors, installs, restores and repairs timber floors and stairs in high-end homes across Melbourne, working alongside architects, designers and builders.
The business had the work and the reviews to back it up: floors in some of Melbourne's best homes, and more than 70 five-star Google reviews. Georgia came to us after seeing another website we had built, wanting a site that let the finished floors speak for themselves and turned visitors into enquiries.
We designed and built the site on WordPress around the project photography, with a calm palette of warm off-white and charcoal. The homepage opens on a full-screen carousel of finished projects under the line "Artisan flooring for inspired living spaces", each slide linking to its project page. Project pages list the services used and the suburb, followed by a gallery of the floors, and the Projects page gathers them all, from Black Rock to Toorak.
The Services page covers all seven services, from direct stick installation to stair nosing, and the testimonials page shows their reviews in full with a link to the rest on Google. The site also has a full-screen menu, a short contact form with an invitation to visit the Cheltenham showroom by appointment, and their ATFA accreditation in the footer. Georgia's review notes the site was delivered on schedule, with good communication throughout.
