Parodia
Parodia designs cable organisers for the desk, the Cable Station and the Cable Rack, made from plant-based PLA and sold online in Australia and the US.
Parodia is an Australian brand that designs cable organisers for the desk. The Cable Station holds up to four charging cables while they're plugged in, each in its own compartment with a removable grip, and the Cable Rack keeps up to five cables or small devices side by side. Both are made from PLA, a plant-based plastic.
Parodia launched with two products and wanted a store that felt as considered as the brands people compare it with, such as Apple, Belkin and Bellroy. The site had to show two small, simple products in enough detail for people to buy them online with confidence.
We designed and built the store on Shopify in Parodia's own palette of white, soft grey and black, with the brand's blue line graphic. The homepage opens on the products in use on a desk, followed by a card for each product and a short statement about the brand. Each product has its own page with a photo gallery, a video showing how it works, technical details such as dimensions, capacity and materials, customer reviews and panels on its design and PLA build.
The Shop menu shows both products with photos, and the cart opens as a drawer with the other product suggested alongside. About, Contact and account pages complete the store, and every page was designed for phones as well as desktops.
