Websites
Your website is the asset every other channel depends on. Search sends people to it. Ads send people to it. If it's slow, unclear or hard to trust, the money spent getting them there is wasted. We build sites for Australian businesses that are built to rank, built to convert, and built so ads land somewhere that works.

Overview
Why the website comes first
Every growth channel ends at the same place. SEO earns a click, Google Ads buys one, Meta Ads interrupts someone scrolling - and all three deliver that person to your website. What happens in the next few seconds decides whether the channel worked. The site is the one piece of the system you own outright, and it's the piece everything else is measured against.
When the site is weak, the symptoms show up elsewhere. Ads get blamed for a poor cost per lead when the landing page is the problem. SEO gets blamed for traffic that doesn't convert when the pages can't hold attention. Rankings stall on a site Google struggles to crawl. Fixing the channel doesn't help, because the channel isn't broken.
That's why we build websites alongside the channels that feed them. The structure is planned around the searches people actually make, the pages are designed around the action we need them to take, and the tracking is in place before the first visitor arrives. When we then run SEO or ads against it, we're pointing them at something that works - and we're accountable for the whole thing, not just our part of it.

Key Areas
What goes into a build
Before anything is designed, we work out what the site needs to do and who it needs to do it for. Which services or products get their own page, how they're grouped, what the navigation looks like, and which searches each page is meant to capture. The structure becomes the plan everything else follows.
Design that earns trust quickly and gets out of the way. Clear hierarchy, honest photography where we can get it, and a layout that reads as well on a phone as on a desktop. It should look like your business - not like a template every competitor is also using.
Fast by default. We build lean, keep plugins and scripts to what the site genuinely needs, compress and size images properly, and test against Core Web Vitals before launch rather than after. Speed is a ranking signal, a conversion factor and an ad-quality factor at once - it's not a nice-to-have.
Clean URLs, sensible heading structure, structured data, internal linking, an XML sitemap and correct indexation rules - baked into the build, not bolted on later. If you're replacing an existing site, every old URL is redirected so the rankings you've already earned come across. More on technical SEO.
Every page has a job. We design around the action - call, enquire, book, buy - and remove the friction between arriving and doing it. Short forms, visible contact details, proof where doubt creeps in, and landing pages that match the ad or search that brought someone there. More on UX and page experience.
Analytics, conversion events, call tracking and ad pixels wired in from day one, so the first enquiry is recorded and every channel can be measured against the same numbers. A site that can't tell you where its leads came from can't be improved. More on tracking & reporting.

Comparison
Rebuild or fix what you have?
Most agencies lead with the rebuild because it's the bigger invoice. The honest answer is that most sites don't need one.
Fix what you have
The right call for most businesses. If the platform gives you control over URLs, markup and speed, the problems are usually accumulated rather than fatal - slow pages, muddled structure, weak calls to action, missing tracking. Those can be fixed in weeks, without losing the rankings and history the existing site has earned.
Rebuild
Justified when the platform itself is the problem: a builder you can't make fast, a site you can't edit without a developer, a structure that no longer matches the business, or a design that's actively costing you trust. Also when the business has changed enough that patching the old site means paying twice.
We'll tell you which situation you're in at the review stage, and we'll tell you if the answer is to leave the site alone and spend the money on traffic instead. If a rebuild is the right call, it's done with a full redirect map and a tracking plan, because a migration done carelessly is how sites lose rankings they'd held for years.

How we work
What a website project
looks like
01
Discovery and audit
We start with the business, not the site: who you sell to, what they search for, what the enquiry is worth, and how the current site is performing. If you have one, we audit it properly - speed, structure, rankings, conversion - so the brief is built on evidence. This is the free review, and you keep it either way.
02
Structure and content plan
A sitemap mapped to real search demand, a page-by-page plan of what each one needs to say and do, and a redirect map if we're replacing something. You see and approve the skeleton before any design happens.
03
Design
Key templates designed first - home, service or product page, contact - then the rest of the system built out from them. You review real pages, not mood boards, and we iterate until it's right.
04
Build and QA
Built on the platform that fits, tested on real devices, checked against Core Web Vitals, accessibility basics and every form and link. Analytics and conversion tracking are installed and tested on the staging site before anyone outside sees it.
05
Launch and handover
Redirects live, sitemap submitted, Search Console and tracking verified, and the first-week numbers watched closely. Then we show you how to edit the site yourself and hand over every login. It's yours.
Platforms
WordPress, Shopify or custom?
We don't have a platform to sell. We build mainly on WordPress and Shopify, and build custom static sites when that's the better fit. The choice follows the business.
WordPress
The default for service businesses and content-led sites. You get full control over structure, URLs and markup, a familiar editor, and the flexibility to grow into landing pages, blogs and location pages without starting over. Built lean - a tightly chosen set of plugins, not forty.
Shopify
The right call for most product businesses selling online. Checkout, payments, inventory and security are handled, which is exactly what you want when the business is retail rather than software. We handle the parts Shopify leaves to you: theme performance, collection and product structure, and the SEO detail that most stores skip.
Custom static builds
When speed and security matter more than a visual editor - brochure sites that rarely change, landing-page systems for ad campaigns, or sites that need to be as fast as physically possible. No database, no plugins to update, nothing to hack. This site is built that way.
Whatever the platform, the site lives on your domain, your hosting and your accounts. If you ever want to move it or take it elsewhere, you can.

Common questions
Websites, answered
Most small business sites take six to ten weeks from kick-off to launch. Larger builds and ecommerce stores take longer. The biggest variable is usually content - how quickly copy, photos and approvals come back - so we plan for that at the start rather than letting it stall the project.
It depends on the size of the site, the platform and how much content needs creating, so we don't publish a flat rate. After the free review we scope the work and give you a fixed quote up front. No hidden costs, no surprises part-way through, and no lock-in contracts.
Yes, completely. It's built on your domain, your hosting and your accounts, and you get every login at handover. If you ever want to move it or work with someone else, nothing stops you.
It will be built to. Clean structure, fast pages, structured data and properly redirected URLs give it every foundation a site needs. But a foundation isn't a campaign - ranking for competitive terms takes ongoing SEO work on content and authority. We build the site so that work performs, and we can run it for you.
Yes, and that's often the better option. If the platform is sound, we fix speed, structure, conversion and tracking on what you have rather than starting over. The free review tells you which situation you're in.
If you sell products online, usually Shopify. If you sell services or your site is content-led, usually WordPress. If the site rarely changes and needs to be as fast as possible, a custom static build. We'll recommend one based on your business, not on what's easiest for us.
Yes, if you want us to. We can set up and manage hosting, updates, backups and security, or hand everything over for you or your IT provider to run. It's optional either way - there's no ongoing fee you're locked into.
We watch the first weeks closely - indexation, speed, form submissions, tracking - and fix anything that surfaces. Beyond that, the site becomes the base for growth: SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads all pointed at pages built to receive them. Most clients continue with one or more of those, but it's a choice, not a condition.
